The main objective of Qurtuba is to offer Quebec residents the opportunity to acquire houses at reasonable prices while avoiding paying usurious interest (Riba). It also allows investors to derive reasonable benefits from their investments, both moral (Halal) and material.
Home Buying
Qurtuba provides to its members an interest-free home buying solution. A diminishing partnership model is used for home purchase process.
Ethical Saving
Qurtuba provides an ethical saving solution that allows you to have moral and comfortable rewards (dividends). Rewards come only from the occupancy fees of the properties belonging to members.
Why choose Qurtuba?
Qurtuba is the only self-funded organization in Quebec. Unlike other organizations, our operations are not funded by any financial institution and therefore we have no debt on our books.

Interest-Free
All the services we offer are interest-free as we consider that it is unfair to repay the loan and bear any losses from the use of the funds.

We exclude financing and dealing in sinful and socially as well as environmentally irresponsible activities and commodities such as gambling, alcohol and drugs.

Qurtuba, as provider of financial funds, and its members share business risk in return for shares of profits and losses.

All our financial transactions have a material finality, that is a direct or indirect link to a real economic transaction.
